Print Disabled Assistance

SGPL's collection includes materials for those with print disabilities (cannot effectively read print because of a visual, physical, perceptual, developmental, cognitive, or learning barriers) access to a wide range of large-print books and audiobooks available in multiple formats. And if we don't have it, we will order it in for you. We are further assisted by two organizations: CELA and NNELS.

CELA is a partner of the CNIB Library and distributes materials to Canadians with print disabilities in physical and electronic formats via their website, public libraries and direct delivery. Use of these services requires registration – click on the CELA banner above to access their website and complete your registration.

NNELS is an electronic service focused on increasing access to accessible materials online for Canadians. They have a wide range of audiobooks and digital books (“eBooks”) available in multiple formats. Registration is also required and you can access their website by clicking on the banner above.

SGPL staff is here to assist you if you'd like more information about or help registering for these services; just give us a call (780) 962-4423 or send us an email
