Travel out of this world and experience this world in new ways with interactive songs and stories that develop school readiness. “Let it go” and sing along; it’s never too early to instill a love of learning in your children. Virtual Animal Program presented by the Calgary Zoo  

Join an expert conservation educator from the Calgary Zoo for an interactive tour through one of the zoo regions. 
Asia Virtual Safari: Discover the spectacular animals that call Eurasia home. Animals observed may include: white-handed gibbons, Malayan tapir, Japanese macaque, Japanese serow, markhor, Amur tiger, wild boar, red panda, snow leopard, Bactrian camel.
Meet animals up close and personal with this interactive and educational program! Come prepared with lots of questions!

No School Fridays It's a no school day. There's no better way to spend it than at the library! We will be showing two movies throughout the day with FREE popcorn. The Tech Tank will be open ALL DAY so come on by to create and explore!

Builders Club In partnership with Parkland County Libraries.
Bring your Lego Bricks, K’Nex or other building materials and unleash your creativity in this 1 hour builders club. Each month there will be a new challenge along with plenty of time for free play. Come join us for a Minecraft extravaganza! We will have new building challenges and ideas to stretch your creativity. Work solo or in a group and make new friends!

A once a month gathering of parents and caregivers with a FREE inclusive program for children and youth. The program alternates between the Stony Plain and Spruce Grove Libraries. Topics and activities for the adult program are posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Talking Circles Join our Talking Circles as we share various gifts, wisdom, stories and teachings from our local Indigenous community and neighbors. Listen deeply with a profound opportunity to understand, learn and establish a sense of community in a safe sacred space. Gain a mutual understanding of one another regardless of our various backgrounds. Refreshments will be provided.

*The Talking Circle is mostly suited for older children and adults, but all community members are welcome to attend this free event.
