Family Storytime: Tales Through Time & Space |
We're back in-person! Travel out of this world and experience this world in new ways with interactive songs and stories that develop school readiness. “Let it go” and sing along; it’s never too early to instill a love of learning in your children. Youth & Anger: Understanding and Healing Big Emotions | This program will encourage youth to non-judgmentally consider the origins of their anger and the ways in which it is affecting them and those around them. Youth will learn the brain science behind the expression of anger in conjunction with a shame-free, strength-based, plan to regulate when big emotions are activated. Wise Mind Wednesdays |
Wise Mind Wednesday provides a consistent time and place for youth to access safe adults and tackle tough topics. Sessions will focus on emotional health, communication skills, work readiness, financial literacy and career planning. The program is in-person through a hybrid delivery model. Synchronous programming is offered at two in-person sites, the Stony Plain Youth Center and the Spruce Grove Public Library. Please register for the specific site that you plan to attend. Theme: How to DM. Want to learn more about Dungeons & Dragons? This is an introductory quick start workshop for aspiring DM's new to Dungeons and Dragons and wanting to learn the first steps of being a Dungeon Master. You will learn the basics of DMing and walk away with some essential tips to begin your next campaign. There's a lot to learn and it can be intimidating. This workshop will help you get started.
