Author Workshop with young adult and middle grade authors Sarena and Sasha Nanua | Join us for this special author workshop to celebrate Canadian Children's Book Week
Workshop theme: CHARACTER BUILDING/SKETCHES. In this workshop, our aim is to teach and have students start sketching their own characters while learning the elements of how we made our characters Ria and Rani (from Sisters of the Snake and Daughters of the Dawn), as well as how to apply the layering technique. Includes 3 writing activities, worksheets provided. |

Kids Whodunnit Mystery Party | Join us for Pajama Party Pandemonium!* An exciting whodunit for kids, ages 10 and up in a slumber party setting. This is a non-murder game where guests will try to figure out which one of them is the mysterious 'Waterford Riddler'. Who is sabotaging the sleepover? *We encourage participants to wear PJs to the party to get in the mood. Snacks will be provided. |
