Virtual Alberta Culture Days

This year Alberta Culture days will run from September 1-30, 2020. To keep everyone safe, we have created a virtual space for everyone to access. We will have videos, crafts, activities, and prizes for all ages to enjoy. We are also partnering with the Allied Arts Council to make this event extra special.

Our theme this year is "A picture is worth a 1000 words and 1000 words paint quite a picture".

Virtual Scavenger Hunt

This web page hides many mysteries. Complete the scavenger hunt page and be entered into one of our two prizes. There will be a kids prize and an adult prize. Submit your completed scavenger hunt page to the library or take a picture and email it to us at asgprogramming@yrl.ab.ca. Only complete and correct pages will be submitted into the draw. The deadline to send them in is September 30, 2020. Explore all the videos, links and activities to find the answers you seek. Good luck.

Visit the library during our operating hours between September 1-30, 2020 and grab your craft supplies to make your own book hedgehog. Enjoy the tutorial video below to make yours at home. Be sure to have adult supervision and assistance.
