What hours is the Library open?

Tuesday - Saturday: 10 am - 5:30 pm

Sundays/Mondays & Statutory Holidays: CLOSED


What health and safety precautions is the Library taking?

The well-being of our community and staff is always our top priority. We ask that you:

Anyone who exhibits symptoms must stay home and seek health care advice as appropriate: parents can call Health Link 811 and/or their primary health care practitioner (family doctor), and fill out the AHS Online Self-Assessment tool to determine if they should be tested.

How do I return my items?

You can return any items that fit through the 24 hr drop-off slots located outside to the left of the main library entrance. Any ‘oversize’ items (such as backpacks, sensory items, or kits) that will not fit, can be returned in the library front entrance. Returned items will remain on your account for 72 hours following return to allow for a quarantine period.


My account is about to expire. How do I renew it?

You can visit us in person and present government issued I.D. to renew your membership for 1 full year, or phone us at 780-962-4423 ext. 400 to receive a 3 month renewal period.


I don’t have a library card. Can I still sign up?

You can visit us in person and present government issued I.D.  to get a library card.  You can also register for a card using online registration. Your temporary card will be good for 3 months and you will have access to eResources with your account. 


Can I browse the Library stacks? 

Yes! You you can come into the library and search the stacks (both adult and children's collections); please be considerate of how long you are in the library so other people have a chance to come in. We can only have 20 people in the library at a time.

Can I use the Library computers? 

Yes, we have computer stations available for 50-minute time spots. We do ask that you bring your own headphones if you will be requiring them.

Is there a study space available?

Yes, we have several study tables in our main lobby area, each spaced 2 metres apart. Once you have finished using a table please inform a staff member at the front desk, so that they may sanitize it for the next patron.

Can I donate items right now?

We are currently at full capacity for donated materials, and due to COVID-19 concerns we are unable to accept any more. An announcement will be made on our social media pages and this website when we are ready to accept donations again.
