Volunteer at your Library

Volunteering allows you to share your expertise, learn new skills and meet new people all while supporting your community.

Open Volunteer Positions:

  • MakerSpace Experts- We are on the lookout for local experts who wish to share their talent and expertise with the community through our MakerSpace programs. If you have a skill you'd like to share, we'd like to hear from you!

Volunteer Application Form:
Please fill out a volunteer application and let us know your interests, skills, availability as well as the position you are interested in applying for.
Only those applicants whose skills and availability match an available position will be contacted.  In the case where multiple applicants are qualified for the same position an interview process may occur.

*Please note volunteer positions are limited to people ages 16 and up. Volunteers who are 16 or 17 years old will require a signed parental permission form

Other Opportunities
Check out our fundraising organization, the Friends of the Spruce Grove Public Library Society. They have additional opportunities such as book sales, Reel Thursdays and other fundraising and advocacy events.

Perhaps you are more interested in governance or participating as part of a management board under provincial library legislation? The Spruce Grove Library Board accepts applications for three year terms, check out the Library Board page for more information.

Thank you for your interest in supporting SGPL!
